Les aventures avec Rachel

Rachel and I have been using our free time between meetings and orientations to explore the city to its fullest. Yesterday, on our first rainy day, we explored the Musee d'Orsay. Il est tres joli!

Who else from Country Parkway remembers making a magnet version of this painting with our own mothers in it?! Mr. Asklar would be so pround!

Today, after our placement test (:o), we sat in the Jardin des Plantes until we made a plan to go to the Pantheon to see the graves of the famous French.

After the Pantheon, we got some lunch and headed to our Visa meeting. We had some extra time before the meeting, so we decided to make some travel plans. We bravely bought a VERY expensive, but hopefully worthwhile, Eurail Pass that will allow us to travel in France, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Prague. We only have 2 months to fit in all 15 of our allotted travel days, so we will be having many more adventures abroad in October and November. I'm SO excited to see all of these beautiful countries!
I ended my adventures for the day at the Jardin de Tuileries. Luckily we didn't get rained on!
